Hi, I’m Lisa.

A Sussex born and based artist, living in the shadows of the South Downs.

Growing up in a creative household, my first inspiration was my mum, as she had a talent, and an eye, for the creative arts and gardening. Then, as a parent myself, picnics, exploring the South Downs and surrounding countryside, has always been a simple joy, not forgetting my beloved Westie in tow.

My love of the natural world, and especially Floral Art and Design has always been a passion, and creating my own art in our home, has been something I’ve always loved.

Painting, in particular Watercolour, has been something that has helped me through life’s ups and downs. I love the way watercolour, as a medium, dances with water and pigment, and allows you to embrace your mistakes, and turn them into something enchanting. Creativity through painting has become part of who I am.

My love of Floral Art, has inspired me to make these untamed exquisite flowers my first collection, reminding me of the resilient beauty of nature beyond four walls, And I’ve named it “Watercolour And Wild”

Like people, no two flowers are alike, I’ve endeavoured to capture their individuality, and I have loved bringing these hidden gems to life on paper and canvas.

I honestly hope you find your favourite wildflower amongst my first collection. If not, please let me know, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for reading

Lisa
